It’s Hen Party season, or is there a season? Anyway, I was out socialising in Waterford City last Saturday night and came across two groups of happy revelers. Both groups wearing the signature pink and black with flashing head gear, sashes, signs, tutus and boa’s. It was the general ‘Hen Party’ choice of clothing and accessories and they were all having a ball.
Along with the Hen Party games and activities, some groups like to give the bride to be something to remember or mark the occasion, like a picture memory book or a card. Some hen party organisers are starting to be a little original now and are ordering Hen Party themed Caricature Guest Signing Boards for the brides to be. So instead of getting everyone to sign a memory book, they sign the borders of the guest signing board.
Meet Sinead, who recently enjoyed her Hen Party weekend and one of her friends ordered a guest signing board as a surprise gift for her. I was told that the groom plays for Horeswood GAA club, she loves her glass of wine, is always smiling and loves to shop. So I created a caricature of Sinead in a nightclub scene with her glass of wine and shopping bags, wearing the GAA jersey.
