Limerick hurling greeting card, perfect for the ultimate Irish hurling supporter! The front of the card features a caricature of a team player with his hurley (the stick) and sliotar (the ball) wearing the green and white Limerick colours (County Limerick team colours).
Hurling is one of the oldest, most skillful and passionate of Irish team sport. It is over 3,000 years old, and is said to be the world’s fastest sport played on grass, combining skills similar to lacrosse, field hockey, and baseball in an extremely highly paced exciting game.
As part of a fun card collection, I created 9 Hurling Mad greeting cards featuring a caricature of a skillful hurler from Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Clare, Limerick, Galway, Waterford and Tipperary.
All my greeting cards are Irish designed (by me) and printed in Waterford, Ireland. Printed on white satin card it measures 120 x 184 mm when folded, the ideal size! We left the inside blank for your personal message and it comes with a white envelope and sealed in a clear cello bag.
